How does it work?

What is Axiology (The longer version)
Axiology, the science of human values, enables us to identify the internal valuing systems that influence our perceptions, decisions and actions- to clearly understand “why” we do what we do!

Dr. Robert S. Hartman was nominated for the Nobel Prize for his contributions in value measurement using Axiology. Hartman’s value mathematics makes it possible to measure human values as accurately as a thermometer measures temperature.
Over 100 studies have been used to validate the Axiological model including an extensive study using a database of over 40,000 people from executives to entry level workers. With our scientific assessment tools based in Axiology we can accurately and easily assess an organisations talent, team effectiveness, culture and overall health.
The assessment objectively identifies how our minds analyze and interpret our experiences. It highlights how we are most likely to react in any given situation. Basically it examines “how we think”. It helps us to understand the patterns we use to make judgments about anything. These processes determine how and why we act as we do.

What is the DISC Index

The DISC Index instrument is one of a family of instruments typically referred to or known as “personality tests.” This misnomer is rejected by Innermetrix and its principles due to the fact that the term “personality” is a very generalized and global term that refers to the entirety of an individual or a person as an embodiment of a collection of qualities.
The term was originally translated from the Latin pers!n”lit”s somewhere around 1400 AD, and has come to represent too wide a range of meanings – everything from a wide bandwidth of behavioural preference to psychological implications. Innermetrix chooses to classify the DISC Index as strictly a behavioural profile, as defined by Marston in his original DISC model.

The report measures four dimensions of your behavioural style. They are:

Decisive — your preference for problem solving and getting results
Interactive — your preference for interacting with others and showing emotion
Stability — your preference for pacing, persistence and steadiness
Cautious — your preference for procedures, standards and protocols
